Masters Hall is an exciting venue for Conferences & Group Accommodation
The complex has a long history and is well known throughout the area as 'the old hospital'. Pahiatua Hospital closed in 1998.
We have kept some of the memories alive by naming the conference room, dining hall, and accommodation wings after old areas of the hospital. Guests have enjoyed the walk down memory lane.
Pahiatua is just thirty minutes from Palmerston North Airport. That's less than crossing from one suburb to another in most cities.
We have a variety of accommodation and meeting rooms and welcome
- Schools camps
- Corporate gatherings
Church events
- Sports Teams
- Special Interest Groups

Corporate Groups
Focus on other than lavish accommodation. Team-building. Work hard and play hard. Visit the famous iconic Tui Brewery just north of Pahiatua. Have a medical theme night - but limit the surgery. Spaces for “breakout groups”. Two AV theatres. Tui HQ can also provide you with conference facilities - and work in with your budget group accommodation at Masters Hall.
Church Groups
Wonderful place for a retreat (advance?) with quiet gardens, or for noisy youthfully exhuberant fellowship, several meeting rooms, chapel, AV theatre for Christian movies, just a few minutes walk to any one of five local churches, television crews available to record special events and teaching sessions. Masters Hall is also the home of Tararua Television - with a potential audience of up to 350,000, according to Kordia.
Sports Teams
Ideal location for sports teams to international level to focus on goals without the distractions offered by major cities.
- For rugby teams we are just across the Track from IRANZ (International Rugby Academy of NZ).
- Bush Sports Stadium, gymnasium, turf and grounds are five minutes walk away.
- Have your coaching sessions filmed by Tararua Television too.
